CALCIOVID®
PREVENTION OF CONDITIONS
ASSOCIATED WITH CALCIUM DEFICIENCY
Ingredients.
Active ingredients: Calcium citrate, Terminalia arjuna extract, Cissus quadrangularis
extract, Collagen Type I, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Magnesium citrate, Zinc
picolinate, Copper citrate, Manganese gluconate, Boron citrate.
Biomedical properties of components-
The physiological
effect of Calciovid® is due to the properties and synergism of the
active substances that make up its composition.
Calcium citrate is involved in the formation of bone tissue, reduces resorption and
increases density, strengthens bone tissue and joints, prevents diseases of the
musculoskeletal system. Calcium citrate provides calcium absorption regardless
of the functional state and secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract,
which can be used for patients with reduced gastrointestinal secretory
function, as well as in combination with drugs to reduce secretion. Normalizes
the content of PTH, which leads to improved regulation of calcium homeostasis.
Also does not increase the content of oxalates and calcium in the urine, so it
does not cause the formation of stones in the urinary system, even with
prolonged use.
Terminalia arjuna contains calcium carbonate, tannins, bioflavonoids and glycosides.
Arjuna's has an ash content of 34%, which consists exclusively of pure calcium
carbonate. Calcium is bound to carbohydrates, proteins and polyphenols in
natural molecular complexes, which have greater bioavailability than the
commonly used mineral salts of calcium. Arjuna has antiosteoporous properties by
stimulating bone cell formation and reducing bone resorption. Cardenolides of
the Arjuna help to increase intracellular calcium. Phytosterols contained in arjuna ensure effective delivery of Ca, P and
Mg ions to target organs and reduce their excretion from the body.
Cissus quadrangular contains active ingredients such as carotenoids, triterpenoids, vitamin
C, β-sitosterol, α-amyrin, as well as anabolic steroids and calcium. Cissus
accelerates the rate of bone fusion in fractures by increasing the production
of osteocalcin, prevents the development of osteoporosis, accelerates the
recovery of all connective tissues, including tendons and cartilage, and
reduces pain and inflammation.
Type I collagen is a strong and elastic fiber woven from bundles of fibrils. They are
involved in the formation of skin, bones, tendons, teeth, blood vessels and
connective tissue. Collagen affects the mineral density of bone tissue,
increases bone strength, protects them from destruction and reduces the risk of
osteoporosis.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus
in the body, participates in the formation of the bone skeleton, helps to
maintain bone structure, enhances the absorption of calcium in the intestine
and reabsorption of phosphorus in the renal tubules.
Magnesium, forming crystals with phosphates, participates in the formation of
apatite - a structural unit of the mineral component of bone tissue. Magnesium
helps to "retain" calcium in the body, so the levels of these
elements are interrelated.
Zinc picolinate is a special type of zinc in combination with picolinic acid, which
improves the absorption and assimilation of zinc by the body. Zinc promotes the
synthesis of sex hormones that prevent the destruction of bone tissue. Also
involved in the regulation of osteoblast activity, collagen synthesis, alkaline
phosphatase activity and increases the absorption of calcium in the intestine.
Zinc picolinate is absorbed even in conditions of low acidity, and therefore
suitable for people who have begun the process of reducing acidity (usually
after 40 years).
Copper is involved in the
synthesis of collagen and elastin, which are part of bone and connective tissue
and affect the processes of bone mass formation.
Manganese is involved in the
formation of proteoglycans that improve bone quality and form the protein
matrix of bone tissue.
Boron reduces the
excessive activity of parathyroid hormone, improves calcium absorption, reduces
the risk of cholecalciferol deficiency. Helps increase the concentration of
osteocalcin, stimulate bone growth and prevent osteoporosis.
Indications for use: It is recommended
to be taken as a food supplement with a physiological effect that affects
phosphorus-calcium metabolism, contains calcium, helps to normalize the
function of the musculoskeletal system.
Dosage
and administration: Adults: 1
capsule 2 times a day at the time of meals.
Contraindications: Not recommended for children
under 12, pregnant women, nursing mothers and in case of individual sensitivity
to the components of the product. When used in the recommended doses,
no side effects were detected.
Nutritional Supplement. GMO free. It is recommended
to consult a doctor before taking. It should not be used as a substitute for a
balanced diet, and the recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.
