CARDIOVID^®

                                                  SUPPORTS CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM

Ingredients (Active Ingredients): Contains combination of standardized medicinal herbs extracts – Allium satívum, Terminalia arjuna, Pueraria lobata, Hesperidin complex, L-arginine, Rutin, Policosanol, Astaxanthin, Rauwolfia serpentina.

Medico-biological properties of the components-

The physiological effect of Cardiovid^® is due to the properties and synergism of the active substances that make up its composition.

Garlic has an anti-aggregation effect and increases the fibrinolytic activity of serum. Adenosine, alliin, allicin are responsible for inhibiting platelet adhesion and aggregation, helping to reduce blood viscosity, helping to prevent vascular thrombosis. Also, it helps to improve blood circulation, microcirculation, myocardial contractile function and pumping function of the heart muscle. Helps to reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Terminalia arjuna has hypolipidemic, antiarrhythmic, cardiotonic and antioxidant properties. Arjuna extract helps to reduces heart rate,  reduces the need for nitro drugs, prevents an increase in systolic pressure and hypertrophy in the right ventricle by inhibiting reactive oxygen species, and there is a decrease in coronary insufficiency.It is  helpful in the treatment of coronary heart disease, heart failure and hypercholesterolemia.

Pueraria lobata has antiatherosclerotic, antihypertensive, antispasmodic and anti-edematous properties. It helps to reduce blood viscosity, prevents thrombosis, restores ionic composition and conductivity of nerve cells. The antiatherosclerotic effect of the plant is due to the reduction of cholesterol biosynthesis in the liver and acceleration of cholesterol breakdown. The opening of Ca2 + / Na + channels leads to vasodilation and activation of protein kinase C, which promotes cardioprotective action.

Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid, which has a vasoprotective, antispasmodic and hypolipidemic effect. Hesperidin acts to increases venous tone, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and reduces their permeability. Helps to improve peripheral blood circulation, microcirculation, lymph flow, affects blood rheology and lowers blood pressure.

Policosanol is a natural substance whose hypocholesterolemic effect is based on the inhibition of cholesterol biosynthesis in liver cells, reducing cholesterol absorption from the intestine and accelerating the breakdown of low-density lipoproteins, with an increased level of which the risk of atherosclerosis is directly associated.

L-arginine - stimulating the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), dilates blood vessels, relieves spasm of coronary vessels, reduces the load on the heart and increases tolerance to hypoxia. Helps maintain normal blood pressure, eliminates edema and reduces the manifestations of coronary insufficiency.

Rutin helps to reduces capillary permeability, improves blood circulation, prevents thrombosis, lowers cholesterol, optimizes heart function, lowers blood pressure and eliminates edema.

Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant.. Astaxanthin improves the rheological properties of blood helps to normalizes blood pressure, activates the heart and blood vessels, normalizes heart rate, saturates tissues with oxygen and lowers total cholesterol. Astaxanthin helps protect the nervous system, increases cognition and prevents loss of brain function.

Rauwolfia contains various alkaloids, such as reserpine and ajmaline. It helps lower blood pressure, has antiarrhythmic properties, has a positive effect on heart rate and normalizes the nervous system.

Indications for use: It is recommended to be taken as a food supplement with a physiological effect that contributes to the normalization of lipid metabolism and affects the functions of the cardiovascular system.

Dosage and administration: Adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

Contraindications: Not recommended for children under 12, pregnant women, nursing mothers and in case of individual sensitivity to the components of the product. When used in the recommended doses, no side effects were detected.
