Medico-biological properties of the components.

The physiological effect of Slim-o-vid^® is due to the properties and synergism of the active substances that make up its composition.

Garcinia cambogia- The main active ingredient is hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which helps to reduce the enzymes citrate-lyase, which is responsible in the body for processing carbohydrates into fats and inhibits primary lipogenesis. HCA normalizes blood sugar levels by accelerating the processing of glucose into energy and reducing the activity of enzyme systems that convert excess carbohydrates into visceral fat. Also hydroxycitric acid (HCA) increases the level of serotonin in the blood plasma, which reduces the amount and frequency of meals, increases energy expenditure and reduces weight gain. HCA helps to inhibit the activity of the digestive enzymes alpha-amylase and alpha-glucosidase, which are responsible for the breakdown of carbohydrates. Thus, the mechanism of action of Garcinia is associated with blocking the absorption of calories. Chlorogenic acid, being the active substance of Garcinia cambogia, inhibits primary lipogenesis by inhibiting the enzyme ATP-citrate-lyase, i.e., slows down the synthesis of fatty acids and activates the oxidation of fats and carbohydrates in the liver and tissues.

Lagerstroemia speciosa (Banaba) contains corosolic acid, which lowers blood sugar and has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects. Corosolic acid helps to increase the use of glucose by increasing the sensitivity of tissues to insulin, and also promotes weight loss. Banaba leaves contain gallic acid, which lowers blood cholesterol, helps break down fats, suppresses appetite, and reduces body weight. It also contains ellagitannins - a class of substances that act as antioxidants. Labdane Diterpenoids promote fat burning and enhance the process of thermogenesis, which is manifested by a heat-generating effect with weight loss.

Trigonella foenum graecum contains polyphenols that help reduce the absorption of fats and carbohydrates, thereby reducing the caloric content of food, and kaempferol, which is part of the chemical composition, removes excess fluid from the body, providing anti-edema effect. Galactomannans, which are part of the medicinal plant, prevent the absorption of sugar into the blood and increase glucose tolerance. It also contains almost all the important amino acids that stimulate the production of natural insulin, reduce hunger, reduce the level of "bad" cholesterol in the blood and accelerate the excretion of toxins. Fenugreek has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system, helps to normalize the functioning of the heart muscle, regulates heart rate and reduces the risk of heart attack.

Terminalia chebula - Sennosides A, tannins and anthraquinone glycosides of the plant reduce the activity of enzyme systems that convert excess carbohydrates into visceral fat, promote digestion, improve metabolism. Chebulic acid stimulates the activity of enzymes of the cytochrome 450 group, which are responsible for the antitoxic function of the liver.

Terminalia bellirica contains gallotanninic acid, saponins and phytosteroids, which primarily help cleanse the small and large intestine of products of incomplete metabolism and parasites.

Piper longum is a source of the chemical compound piperlongumine, as well as the alkaloid piperine, which have a detoxifying effect, improve metabolism, immune status, optimize the antioxidant profile, help to slow down the aging process.

Indications for use: It is recommended to take as a dietary supplement with a physiological effect that affects factors regulating body weight, metabolism, accelerating the breakdown of fats in the body, and reducing appetite and the calorie content of food consumed.

Dosage and administration: Adults: 1 capsule 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. For more effective results, it is recommended to follow a reduced-calorie diet combined with daily exercise. It is recommended to consult a doctor before taking.

Contraindications: Not recommended for children under 12, pregnant women, nursing mothers and in case of individual sensitivity to the components of the product. When used in the recommended doses, no side effects were detected.
