Composition.

Active Ingredients: Lutein 10%, Zeaxanthin, Bilberry extract (Anthocyanins -25%) -, Lycopene 10%, N-acetylcysteine, Taurine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Pine bark extract (Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins 95%), Ginkgo Biloba extract, Citrus bioflavonoids 35%, Beta-carotene 10%, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B12, Vitamin P, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc.

Medical and biological properties of components.

The physiological effect of BIOVITON^® VISIO is due to the properties and synergism of the active substances included in its composition.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids that exhibit high antioxidant activity against free radical damage to the retinal pigment epithelium, macula and eye vessels. They ensure normal function of the visual apparatus, prevent the development of age-related disorders and vision loss. They prevent cellular destruction of the retina in the optic nerve area, and promote the activation of reparative processes in dystrophic retinal disorders.

Blueberries strengthen the area of ​​the retina that performs dark adaptation, prevent free radical damage to the retinal pigment epithelium, and slow down the development of diabetic retinopathy. They increase the level of the visual pigment rhodopsin, which improves accommodation and ensures the adaptation of the eye to low light.

Lycopene contains phytosteroids and carotenoids, which helps to reduce the risk of cataracts and macular degeneration and strengthen the walls of blood vessels and capillaries.

N-acetylcysteine is involved in the metabolism of the lens of the eye.Helps to contributes to the delay of cataract development and enlightenment of the lens in the initial forms of cataracts.

Taurine helps to promote the activation of reparative processes in dystrophic disorders of the retina. Taurine deficiency is one of the reasons for decreased vision in the elderly.

Alpha-lipoic acid   helps to increases the contrast sensitivity of the eyes and improves overall visual perception and visual acuity.

Oligomeric proanthocyanidins helps to restore visual acuity, improve capillary resistance, reduce the risk of retinal hemorrhage.

Ginkgo biloba prevents ischemia and free radical damage to the retina and macula, improves blood supply to eye structures, helps reduce intraocular pressure. Strengthens the vascular wall, reduces capillary permeability and fragility, and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Citrus bioflavonoids helps to prevent sclerotic lesions of blood vessels, helps to  increased vascular permeability and glaucoma.

Beta-carotene slows down the development of cataracts, prevents the development of macular degeneration, glaucoma and other diseases of the visual organs associated with age-related changes.

Vitamin B1, B2, B12, P, C and E are necessary for metabolic processes and the synthesis of enzymes that affect intraocular pressure, reduce the risk of cataracts, age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma, improve visual acuity. Contribute to the strengthening of the vascular wall, helps to improve the outflow of intraocular fluid and reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma.

Selenium and zinc helps to improve cellular metabolism and slow down the process of sclerosis of the ocular arteries, support the normal functioning of the retina, helps to prevent the development of optic nerve dystrophy and helps in maintaining visual acuity.

Indications for use: It is recommended to be taken as a food supplement with a physiological effect that positively affects the functioning of the visual apparatus, improves visual acuity and helps reduce the risk of developing degenerative processes in the retina and lens of the eye.

Dosage and administration: Adults and children over 12 years of age, 1 tablet once a day during or after meals. It is recommended to consult a doctor before taking.

Contraindications: Not recommended for children under 12 years, pregnant women, nursing mothers and in case of individual sensitivity to the components of the product. When used in the recommended doses, no side effects were detected.

Nutritional Supplement. The product is not a medicine. GMO Free.  Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet. Do not exceed the specified recommended amount (portion) for daily consumption.
